China's central bank says it has called for the shutdown of a company suspected of providing software services for virtual currency transactions, which was Bitcoin. In May this year, China had banned some financial institutions and payment companies from providing crypto-related services. This July almost Half of the world's bitcoin miners in China have gone dark following Beijing's call for a severe crackdown.
